The Martinez family's coastal property had excellent wind resources but limited roof space for solar panels. We designed a hybrid system combining a small wind turbine with rooftop solar and battery storage.
The 5kW wind turbine and 8kW solar array work together to provide consistent renewable energy throughout the year. The battery storage system ensures power availability during storms when the grid is often unreliable.
The hybrid system provides 110% of the home's energy needs, with excess power sold back to the grid. The family has achieved complete energy independence while reducing their carbon footprint.
