Sunrise Organic Farm needed to reduce their electricity costs to remain competitive while maintaining their commitment to sustainable farming practices. We installed a 150kW solar array across multiple barn roofs and a ground-mounted system.
The installation included 450 high-efficiency solar panels strategically placed to avoid shading farm operations. We also installed a monitoring system that allows the farm owners to track energy production and consumption in real-time.
The solar system now provides 85% of the farm's electricity needs, saving them over $30,000 annually. The farm has become a showcase for sustainable agriculture in the region.
