Harmony Hills Community wanted to provide solar energy to all 48 townhomes in their development, but individual roof installations weren't feasible due to shading and orientation issues. We designed a shared solar system with individual metering.

The 200kW solar array was installed on a purpose-built canopy structure in the community center parking area. Each home has its own production allocation based on their energy usage patterns and contribution to the system cost.

The shared system provides 75% of the community's electricity needs while creating a beautiful covered parking area. Residents save an average of $1,200 annually on their electricity bills.
