The Johnson family wanted to reduce their carbon footprint and protect themselves from power outages. We designed and installed a 10kW solar system with a 13.5kWh battery backup.
The system includes 28 high-efficiency solar panels mounted on the south-facing roof and a wall-mounted battery system in the garage. The installation was completed in just three days with minimal disruption to the family's daily routine.
The system is expected to offset approximately 95% of the family's electricity usage and provide up to 2 days of backup power during grid outages. The Johnsons are also taking advantage of net metering to sell excess electricity back to the grid.
